PRE-HALLOWEEN

{ Halloween is a magical holiday for so many reasons. Including the making of Hocus Pocus, which receives many a-mention on this blog. This year, the bewitching hour befalls a Friday. All will wake from the dead … and become the dead the next day, rest assured. Best part?? Halloween in Rochester – we still celebrate early! So grab your costumes + get yo’ freak on because this weekend proves to be wild. }

Nonetheless!

Allow me to atone with my wisdom. Or rather, the wisdom of Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.

No matter how long and tumultuous and unpredictable and unrelenting our winters are here in Rochester, NY – Spring Always Springs. No matter what. Even if it doesn’t feel like Spring right on the day that marks our vernal equinox, Spring Springs. That’s the natural cycle of life. No matter how long and tumultuous and unpredictable and unrelenting life seems now, if we trust ourselves and act kind to ourselves and to others–if we care for our surroundings wholly–spring will spring to us as well. We will find–and find again–that we are strong enough to weather any storm that every season brings.

Always know this as truth.
